CREATIVE PROCESS TEXTILE ART 

Alternating between oil painting and textile art, the latter opens a portal to healing goddess energy. As a girl I learned to sew, knit, crochet, quilt, and design my own clothing. A regenerated relationship with textiles helps me share my mother's spirit through the veil.

Pauline's life was cut short by cancer when she was 60 (I was 33.) Now at 72 myself, painting and collaging textiles opens a new relationship mother/daughter/goddess with myself. 

My process often begins in the garden, digging, planting, pruning, or simply just being in my place in the sun. These activities ground me. Emotional energy short circuits if not grounded. More often than not, an afternoon in the garden gives rise to a week of prolific painting.
